Nearly everyone has heard of Margaret River... the surf, the wines, the coastline, the waves, but I don’t think it is until you have people come to visit or you holiday elsewhere that you really appreciate the beauty of what this incredible region has to offer... and how amazed people are at its natural beauty... November to April is my favourite time of the year... I’m a sucker for a sunny day but from now on the wind drops, the beaches are quiet, the waves clean and glassy and you can get a table at nearly any of the great places to eat regardless of if you are wanting five star or take-away on the beach... come and see for yourself we’d love to have you stay...
For those that don’t know this is us... the reason we started @townhousemargaretriver is because we found hotels didn’t really work for us when travelling with kids for a long length of time... they have a lot of stuff, they need a bit more room and lets be honest a kitchen is a god send for a hangry five year old melting down because your not building him a telehandler or some other LEGO thing... so we try and make it easy... toys, Netflix, DVDs, a courtyard and space to play, all enclosed so you don’t need to worry about them running off, baby gates, high chair, kids cups, bowls and utensils, beach towels, full size cot or Porta cot... we can stock the fridge and pantry if you need... all to make that holiday transition that little bit more relaxing... (and for those of you still reading... I always have to cut my husbands head off in photos so we all fit and my son is standing on a stool... he really is tall!)
